Sofia Oh

Hello, my name is Sofia and I specialise in helping students achieve their highest grade goals - from 11+ exams up to GCSEs.

I help students go from needing extra support to achieving top grades so that they enjoy learning, feel motivated and confident, using study secrets I created for optimum success. I am an A-level student at one of the top 10 grammar schools in the UK, Colchester Royal Grammar School, with 10 GCSEs (all grade 8s and 9s = A* equivalent) attained at the Colchester County Grammar School for Girls, and I have 2 years mentoring and tutoring experience in Maths, Science and English, from Year 5 to Year 11.

As a Year 12 student, I understand the difficulties, pressures and stresses of young people. Not only do I teach students the topics of choice, I coach my students on motivation, mindset, time management, exam techniques, procrastination, exam structure and planning a study schedule.

In addition to my academics, I compete in Martial Arts (K1 & MMA) and love training at the gym, prioritising an active lifestyle. I am also a Catechist (teacher) at St Teresa of Lisieux Church, to teens aged 13-18 preparing for the Confirmation Sacrament. At my sixth form, I regularly lead sessions for Christian Society. Due to being so well-rounded, I really enjoy mentoring and inspiring students.
