Dawn Bent

My name is Dawn and I am a qualified primary school teacher. I tutor English and maths at KS1 and KS2, and have also tutored 11+. I have worked in a range of roles within schools, including as a class teacher and planning and providing interventions in preparation for SATs for over 28 years.

I am passionate about developing confidence in those I work with and very much believe it is a team effort. I tailor sessions to each individual, and adapt to their needs as they are identified. I focus on building a foundation of knowledge and then developing those skills to take risks and apply understanding in maths, as well as support in reading and writing in English, all using a range of resources.
